Instructional design
We have a team of highly qualified and creative instructional designers to help you with your design needs. Generally we find client’s that have limited learning and development resources require our help in designing programs to align to strategic needs so they can focus on the delivery. Our instructional design team will consult with you on what outcomes you want to achieve and the environment the training will be delivered in, and provide constant communication to enable you to stay close to the design and development.
Co-design
Some of our clients prefer to take a more collaborative approach to design and choose to engage us to co-design. This is where we design the instructional content and delivery methodology for the training, which is combined with your internal team’s design of scenarios, case studies and relevant real life examples to use within the training. This ensures your people get the best of both worlds – leading edge theory and practical training combined with work examples and case studies to provide context.
Train the designer
For companies that have Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within their midst a Train the Designer package might suit. Our team will train the SMEs in how they would approach designing a program to transfer their knowledge and skill. We offer ongoing support and coaching to the designers to ensure they are developing a high standard product that will deliver the desired outcomes.
Design support
Many organisations need assistance in training needs analysis or other design support functions. Our design consulting services can help as early in the process as identifying the outcomes you want to achieve to and as late as creating participant notes.
